This add-on for EggBot kits replaces the "old-style" wooden pen arm backer with the newest version, made of CNC milled aluminum. This new version is stiffer, stronger, and more reliable. It is now included as a standard part on all new Basic, Deluxe, Pro, and Ostrich EggBot kits that we ship.
If you need a replacement pen arm backer, or if your EggBot kit came with the old-style wooden pen arm backer, we would recommend this aluminum version for a nice little upgrade.
