This machined aluminum knob is aslo the metal portion of our Precision Egg Coupler-- without the conformable abrasive surface. Perfect for making custom fixtures and couplers to mount objects in an Eggbot, or for use as its own as a nice aluminum knob on any 5 mm shaft.
The coupler base is precision made of CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum, with a clear-anodized finish. It is 7/8" (20 mm) in diameter, and measures 3/8" (about 9.5 mm) thick. The center hole is precisely sized to fit the 5 mm shaft of the motor, and it comes fitted with a stainless steel 10-32 set screw.
